Choice | Conscious Personal Development

It's nothing personal, life. It's all your choice. Let nothing anyone says affect you personally.

And let nothing anyone says affect your conscious personal development. When it comes to life and choice, words are simply primitive communication and perception. They are not necessarily fact, and they are subject to constant change. It is your choice to believe or not. Whether it's harsh criticism, an offhand comment, or even a compliment, do not take it personally. Remember the old saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me"? It is true if it is your choice.

What drives us to make the choice to speak with criticism, sarcasm, angry retorts, hurtful, negatively manipulative, deceiving words? Is there anyone who can honestly say they feel better when they make that choice? It is the negative ego that makes your choice to answer back. Don't. Take it as an opportunity to grow and better your personal development; to see your self through others' eyes.

We make the choice to feel our frustrations, depression, and anxieties. We can also make the choice to lessen their impact.

It is your choice to smile and make eye contact, and make the right choice in your personal development.

It truly doesn't matter who is right or who is wrong. You don't have to make a point. You just have to make a choice. Just be. Just be comfortable in your own beliefs, in your own choice. Trust your self. Take care of your self. You'll make the right choice.

Self Conscious. When did the term take on negative or weak connotations? I wonder.
