The Koru

To the Maori tribes in New Zealand, this spiral design is called the Koru. Mimicking the frond of the fern, it represents the unfolding of new life, hope, and renewal, bringing purity to the world. The Koru is also known to symbolize peace, tranquility and spirituality. It represents humans working together in harmony. And if that isn't enough, the Koru is often associated with nurturing; reminding humans of the strength and love within the family relationship. It is everything a Self Improvement soul needs to be reminded of the good things to hold onto and strive for in life.

For me, this symbol invokes an awareness of personal growth and the potential for new beginnings.

Together, humans are supposed to learn how to navigate the muddy waters, and keep each other grounded. We did, and still are. That's what sisters are for, right? We realized how much fun it was, working together, and how naturally it came to us and thought, "why not help other people the same way?" We chose a simple goal to share upfront truths and open communication regarding the fact that life is tough, but it doesn't have to be stressful and unhappy.

The information we provide and the products we sell here at ThinkItOut.net are meant to encourage active thought and new perspectives in every situation every day. And it doesn't stop there. This site will eventually be a plethora of offerings, information, products and services including Children's books, Laughter classes, Reiki, Q&A blogs / forums (oh wait! those are now here! Go post a question!), and more.

We believe humans should be working together with committment and responsibility. We believe finding the humor in everything can make a difference for the better in anyone's life. Lighten up and learn to live and laugh with us. Just ThinkItOut!

Self Conscious. When did the term take on negative or weak connotations? I wonder.
