Straight Truths:

  1. stay in the moment, not the past or future
  2. write down your reasons for the decisions that got you where you are
  3. the answers to your troubles lie within you, no one else
  4. keep your priorities straight and true
  5. honesty is the best policy and it's harder to forget than a deception
  6. change is good: it brings about new experiences, knowledge, and personal satisfaction
  7. action is constructive; dwelling is destructive
  8. ask outright: don't project your own scenarios, feelings, or fears onto others
  9. let life play itself out, not your mind
  10. do in moderation: work, play, give, take. It'll keep you in balance. You won't get too run down, nor too hyped up.
  11. the tighter you hold on, the more likely you're going to lose what you're holding onto

Reverse Psychology (consider that some people actually live this way ...)

  1. If at first you don't succeed, don't try again
  2. Just dwell on it, that'll fix everything
  3. If you're not happy, find someone else to blame
  4. Live life in your mind, it'll be a very fulfilling ride
  5. Goals just get in the way
  6. Good things come instantaneously
  7. Patience is a waste of time

Grass is always greener

All Things Considered ...

Maybe the Universe put the green grass on the other side so we'd get up and go look for it.


Never stop trying.  Make the choices and changes that will make your life happen.

Everyone's heard that actions speak louder than words ...

So why do so many people not take action in order to change what is not making them happy or successful? Why do so many people look to others to make a difference for them in their lives?  Why is it that so many people cannot figure out why this world is seemingly crumbling around them?
