The Truth about Life
If only people would see clearly, share honestly, and accept fully their true feelings and intentions ... before it is too late. There is nothing wrong with wearing your heart on your sleeve. There is nothing wrong with sheltering it, either.
In fact, there is everything right about doing it your way. And there is everything wrong in trying to make others change their way.
There is a sad but true little story told in the pictures below. It came to me in an email. I've no idea who or where it started. What matters is that it says a lot.
There are many who will roll their eyes and view it as ridiculous or a waste of time. There are many who will view it as poignant, share the sorrow, and perhaps cry. I am one who shared in the sorrow. Yet, I understand why others roll their eyes. I respect the reality of perception.

He brings her food and attends to her with love, compassion, and devotion.

Despite his efforts, she dies. He tries to move her.

He calls out to her.

When she does not respond, he cries out.
Finally awareness comes. She is gone.

These photos, of a male bird trying desperately to save his mate, are thought to have been taken in the Republic of Ukraine. It is said that the photographer sold these picture for a nominal price to the most famous newspaper in France, and that all the copies of that newspaper were sold out on the day of publishing these pictures. I wonder why.
